Nashville: So, the Titans just had their first virtual chat with Thomas Dimitroff, the former G.M. of the Falcons. They’re looking for a new General Manager, and he’s on their list.

Dimitroff was with the Falcons from 2008 to 2020. During his time, they made the playoffs six times and even went to the Super Bowl in 2017, though they lost to the Patriots.

Before that, he was with the Patriots as their director of college scouting. He’s got a solid 28 years in the NFL and even snagged the NFL Executive of the Year award twice.

Recently, he co-founded a football analytics company called SumerSports. They focus on using data to help teams make better decisions about players and rosters.

The Titans are on the hunt to replace Ran Carthon, who was brought in before the last season. Chad Brinker, their president of football operations, is leading the search.

They’ve already talked to Reggie McKenzie from the Dolphins and have their eyes on a few other candidates, too. It’ll be interesting to see who they pick!
