Los Angeles: The Chargers pulled off an impressive comeback against the Broncos on Thursday night. They won 34-27, which was a big deal for their playoff chances.

At halftime, the Broncos were ahead 21-13. But the Chargers turned things around in the second half. Running back Gus Edwards scored a 5-yard touchdown, narrowing the gap to 24-19.

After a solid defensive stop, Justin Herbert connected with Derius Davis for a 19-yard touchdown. That gave the Chargers their first lead of the game with just over 12 minutes left in the fourth quarter.

Denver had a couple of chances to tie it up but couldn’t get into scoring position. Herbert made some key plays, including a 34-yard touchdown pass to Hassan Haskins, which put the Chargers up by 10 late in the game.

The Broncos started strong, scoring three touchdowns on their first three drives. But they couldn’t find the end zone again after that. They even missed out on some points due to penalties.

Herbert finished the game with 284 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. Ladd McConkey was the top receiver with 87 yards on six catches. On the other side, Nix threw for 263 yards and two touchdowns.

With this win, the Chargers improved to 9-6 and are in a good position for the playoffs. They need a few things to go their way this weekend to clinch a spot.

Next up, the Chargers will head to New England before wrapping up the regular season against Las Vegas. The Broncos, also at 9-6, still have a shot at the playoffs but need some help.
