Brierley Hill: A man named Benjamin Levy has been sentenced for abusing a woman over several months. He was pretty brutal, threatening her life and using physical violence.
This guy, who has a ‘warrior’ tattoo on his face, did some awful things. He slammed her head into a door frame, threw her against a radiator, and even hit her with a gym weight.
After enduring all this, she finally reported him to the police. Levy, who lives on Lower Derry Street, faced over 15 charges, including assault and threats to kill.
At first, he denied everything, but eventually, he changed his plea to guilty. The judge at Wolverhampton Crown Court sentenced him to 16 years in prison.
He’ll also have to spend an extra five years on license after his release. PC Morgan Colley from the West Midlands Police said Levy was a dangerous man who made his victim live in fear.
But thanks to her bravery in coming forward, he’s now behind bars. She showed incredible strength throughout the whole process, and it’s great to see justice served.
