Thug struck policeman to face and threatened to burn down pub

Latchford: Jason Parker really messed up when he hit a police officer in the face. This all went down on October 28, 2023, and now he’s facing some serious consequences.

He was charged with assaulting an emergency worker and making threats to burn down The Cheshire Cheese Pub. Can you believe that?

At first, he pleaded not guilty, but then he changed his mind and admitted to it. The court took a good look at what he did and decided he needed to be punished.

They thought about giving him jail time because he hurt the officer pretty badly. But since he owned up to his actions, they decided to suspend his sentence for 12 months.

He’s got to do some rehabilitation activities and pay £250 in compensation. Plus, he can’t go near the pub for a whole year.

They didn’t make him pay any extra costs since he’s not exactly rolling in cash. They’ll just take the compensation from his benefits.
