Bedford: So, there’s been a really tragic incident in Bedford. Three teenagers have been charged with murder after a 17-year-old named Thomas Taylor was stabbed. It happened around 5:50 PM on a Wednesday as he was walking near the bus station.
Thomas was a student at Bedford Academy. He was rushed to the hospital but sadly didn’t make it. The police arrested an 18-year-old, Ahmed Adam, along with two other boys aged 16 and 17, who can’t be named due to legal reasons.
They were charged with murder a few days later and are now in custody. They’re set to appear in court soon. Over the weekend, detectives made more arrests, bringing in two more boys aged 16 and 18 for questioning.
There’s also been an 18-year-old who was arrested but has been released on bail. Detective Inspector Richard Stott expressed his condolences to Thomas’s family and friends, saying it’s a tough time for them.
