Sheffield: A tragic incident occurred when a 15-year-old boy was stabbed. This happened at All Saints Catholic High School during lunch break.

The victim, identified as Harvey Willgoose, was attacked around 12:17 PM. Reports say he was stabbed three times in the school courtyard.

Students witnessed the horrifying event. Teachers quickly provided first aid while the school went into lockdown. An air ambulance was called, but sadly, Harvey died shortly after reaching the hospital.

Police detained another 15-year-old boy on suspicion of murder. They are investigating the threatening messages exchanged between the two boys before the attack.

This incident follows a previous lockdown at the school due to a student allegedly bringing a blade. Parents are understandably upset and demanding answers.

Local MP Louise Haigh stated that serious questions need to be addressed. A fellow student remembered Harvey as a lovely and cheeky boy who brightened everyone’s day.

Neighbors expressed their shock and sadness. They described Harvey as always smiling and a devoted Sheffield United fan.

South Yorkshire Police assured the community that officers would remain on-site for support. The mayor of South Yorkshire expressed condolences to Harvey’s family and friends.

Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer also shared his sympathies, emphasizing that schools should be safe places for learning, not violence.
