These are the most wanted people in Wales

Newport: Police in Wales are on the hunt for several individuals linked to various alleged crimes. They’re asking anyone with information to step forward and help out.

This isn’t a complete list of all the wanted folks in Wales. South Wales Police regularly updates their active appeals on Facebook, but not every case makes it online. They try to track down suspects before they go public.

North Wales Police keeps some older appeals up even after they’re no longer active, so it’s tough to know if those individuals are still wanted. To keep things accurate, they’re only sharing appeals from December 20, 2024, onward.

Both police forces were asked for full lists of wanted individuals, but they declined. However, the appeals from Gwent Police and Dyfed-Powys Police are current.

As of January 17, here are some of the people police are looking for in Wales. If you recognize anyone or know where they might be, please call the police at 101 and mention the reference number listed with their picture. You can also reach out to Crimestoppers anonymously at 0800 555111, and you might even be eligible for a reward.

Ian Probert

Gwent Police is offering up to £1,000 for info on Ian Probert, who’s wanted for causing serious injury by dangerous driving. On January 13, in Malpas, Newport, a woman and her dog were hurt when he fled the scene after hitting them.

Anthony Richards

They’re also looking for 34-year-old Anthony Richards from Caerphilly, who’s been recalled to prison for breaching his license conditions.

Anthony Manson

Gwent Police, with Crimestoppers, is after Anthony Manson. He’s wanted for several serious offenses, including grievous bodily harm. He’s been on the run for over a year and is known to change his appearance.

Sardi Hasani

They’re also trying to find 31-year-old Sardi Hasani, who’s been recalled to prison after breaching his license conditions. He has ties to Swansea.

Christopher Drew

Christopher Drew, 31, is also on the list for breaching his license conditions. He’s linked to Cwmbran, Pontypool, and Brecon.

Leigh Elston

Leigh Elston, 35, from Penpedairheol, is wanted for breaching his license conditions after serving time for drug-related offenses.

Russell Turner

Russell Turner, 29, failed to return to HMP Prescoed after being convicted of serious drug offenses and assaulting an emergency worker. He’s about 6ft tall and has several tattoos.

Police want to speak to Dean Robbins, 33, in connection with an alleged assault. He’s believed to have links to Alway, Newport.

Valter Hoxha, 40, from Newport, is wanted for breaching his license conditions after being released from prison.

Leon Wells, 40, from Abertysswg, is also wanted for breaching his license conditions.

Paul Harris, 25, from Cinderford, is wanted for alleged drug trafficking. He has links to Chepstow and Gloucester.

Altaib Ahmad Altagani, 32, from Newport, has been recalled to prison.

Sharany Abbas, also known as Rasta, is wanted for alleged Class A drug supply. He’s believed to have links to Merthyr Tydfil and Cardiff.
