Stirling: The Scottish cities most and least likely to see Valentine’s Day proposals have been revealed. February 14 is a big day for love, and many choose this date to pop the question. Scotland’s beautiful cities are perfect for proposals.
Experts at Casino.org created a list of cities where proposals are most likely. They looked at search terms like ‘engagement rings’ and ‘proposal ideas’ to gather their data.
Stirling tops the list as the city most likely to see proposals. It’s famous for Stirling Castle and the National Wallace Monument, both great spots for a romantic moment.
Stirling also has a lively food scene. Romantic restaurants like The Orangery and River House Stirling are popular. Cozy bars like No 2 Baker Street and Nicky-Tams Bar & Bothy add to the charm.
Dunfermline comes in second. This city has lovely spots like Dunfermline Abbey and Pittencrieff Park. Restaurants like Dhoom and Jack ‘O’ Bryan’s are perfect for a date.
Glasgow is third on the list. It offers beautiful places to propose, like the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and the Botanic Gardens. Four Glasgow restaurants were recently named among the most romantic in Scotland.
Inverness and Perth round out the top five. Inverness has Cafe 1, a romantic restaurant, while Perth boasts scenic spots like Scone Palace and Branklyn Garden.
On the flip side, Dundee is the city where proposals are least likely. Still, it has beautiful places like Broughty Ferry Beach and the Dundee Botanic Garden.
Other cities with fewer proposals include Aberdeen and Edinburgh. However, they have romantic spots like Aberdeen Beach and Arthur’s Seat.
