Pembrokeshire: You know, there’s this lovely motto at Greenacres Rescue: “Saving one animal will not change the world – but for that one animal, its world will change forever.” It really captures what they’re all about.

They’re always on the lookout for forever homes for their furry friends. Right now, they’ve got some adorable pets ready to find their new families.

Just a heads up, the center will be closed over Christmas, so if you’re thinking about adopting, you’ll need to apply through their website.

They’ve picked out four dogs and a cat that are just waiting for a chance to be loved in the new year.

Mya

First up is Mya, a sweet lurcher who’s got a bit of a story. She came in with a broken leg and shoulder, and sadly, they had to amputate. But don’t worry, she’s doing great now! Mya is a happy little tripod who loves other dogs and would be a loyal companion.

Mouse

Then there’s Mouse, a seven-month-old kitten who’s had a rough start. He couldn’t walk when he arrived, but with some TLC, he’s made a fantastic recovery. He’s looking for an indoor-only home where he can feel safe and loved.

Robyn

Beautiful Robyn is another gem. She was found as a stray and is a lovely Cane Corso. She’s a bit shy at first but warms up quickly. Robyn loves other dogs and would thrive in a caring home.

Eva

Next is Eva, an eight-year-old Labrador with a heart of gold. She’s great with kids and other dogs, making her a perfect family pet. Eva knows her basics and is eager to learn more in her new home.

Layla

Last but not least is Layla, a sweet six-year-old whippet. She’s deaf and needs a patient owner who can help her adjust. Layla has been doing well in her foster home and would love a forever family that understands her needs.

If any of these lovely animals catch your eye, head over to greenacresrescue.org.uk to apply. Just remember, they don’t take phone applications.

They also have generic adoption forms available, so you can help match these pets with their perfect homes.
