Canterbury: A man is curious to see a documentary about his brother’s murder. The story airs tonight on Channel 5.

Simon Gorecki and Natasha Sadler-Ellis were killed by Foster Christian in March 2016. Their deaths stemmed from a heated argument over a shower temperature.

Simon’s brother, Adam Devlin, plans to watch the episode. He wants to honor Simon, a dad-of-three and fishmonger who moved from east London.

Adam said he feels curious about the documentary. He mentioned that time doesn’t heal; it just helps manage the pain.

A Killer Makes a Call explores murder cases where the caller is the murderer. Christian, a known violent offender, claimed self-defense during the incident.

He said Simon and Natasha attacked him with a knife. However, he stabbed Simon five times and Natasha multiple times, leading to their deaths.

Christian received a 30-year minimum sentence for the double murder. Two women who helped him dispose of the murder weapons were also jailed.

Each episode of the series details the events leading to the 999 call and the investigation that followed.

Adam, his mother Sally, and sister Alice chose not to participate in the filming. However, one of Simon’s friends contributed to the series.

Adam and Simon were very close growing up, sharing a bedroom. Adam reflected on how time feels both raw and distant since Simon’s passing.

They don’t discuss the tragedy often, but significant dates bring reflection. Simon loved being a fishmonger in Kent after leaving London.

Filming took place in autumn, including a visit to Natasha’s memorial plaque in Margate. The second season of A Killer Makes a Call starts at 10 PM on Channel 5.
