The Monkey House Nursery School gets Good Ofsted rating

Mapledurwell: The Monkey House Nursery School just got a thumbs up from Ofsted! They were checked out on things like education quality and how the kids behave.

After the inspection on December 11, they scored a ‘good’ in every area. That’s pretty awesome!

The report says the kids get a warm welcome when they arrive. They’re able to say goodbye to their parents without a fuss. The staff really connect with both the kids and their parents, which is great for everyone.

It’s clear the nursery has a solid plan for learning. The staff know what they’re doing, and it helps the kids pick up all sorts of skills.

Kids get to play and learn in fun ways. They even explore bugs, counting their legs and sorting them into groups. How cool is that?

The report also mentions that the kids are picking up a lot of new words. They’re really getting the hang of communication!

Overall, the kids are respectful and get along well with each other. During clean-up time, they even watch a sand timer and help tidy up. That’s teamwork!

While the staff are good at handling unwanted behavior, they still need to work on helping the kids understand the rules better. Sometimes, they remind the kids to use their ‘walking feet’ indoors, but it could be more consistent.

However, there are some areas for improvement, especially with handwashing. The report says the staff need to get better at encouraging good hygiene practices.
