Wrexham: The MP for Wrexham recently visited Rossett, a charming village. Many recognize Rossett from the Number 1 bus route. It has historic buildings that stand out.

The village features a beautiful mill from 1661, once milling corn for locals. Artists like JMW Turner found inspiration here. The church is also a key spot, though it’s not the original one.

The Green is the village’s heart. Recently, it got a new play area for kids. The park has transformed into a fun space for families.

The MP enjoyed visiting the Hwb Yr Orsedd. This community hub replaced an old toilet block. It offers a café where locals can socialize and learn new skills. The Hwb relies on volunteers and hosts various activities throughout the week.

The MP also met with the British Association of Shooting and Conservation at Marford Mill. They shared their love for nature and discussed environmental challenges.

Wrexham’s constituency is diverse, from the city center to rural areas. After boundary changes for the 2024 election, some may not realize when they are in Wrexham. Rossett connects Wrexham and Chester, with a strong farming background. The MP looks forward to returning soon!
