Stoke-on-Trent: The snow last night really threw a wrench in the works for bin collections. The council’s struggling to get to 125 streets today.

Areas like Bentilee, Adderley Green, and Bucknall are facing issues. The bin crews are hoping to collect as many bins as they can by 5 PM.

This disruption is all thanks to the overnight snow, which has made the roads a bit of a nightmare and even closed some schools.

To top it off, there’s a new yellow weather warning from the Met Office for snow and ice, starting at 5 PM today and lasting until 10 AM Tuesday.

So, if you’re in one of those areas, hang tight! The council plans to return within five working days to collect your bins.
