Thatcham: Thousands attended the first Chinese New Year Market yesterday. The town council organized this exciting event.

Visitors enjoyed a variety of food stalls. They offered Chinese street food, Thai, Indonesian, Japanese, and Taiwanese dishes.

The highlight was the traditional lion dances. These performances bring good luck and chase away evil spirits.

Mayor Suzanne Adamantos joined the festivities with the lion dancers. The event also featured unique crafts and handmade products.

Families enjoyed face painting, adding to the fun. Many visitors loved the cultural celebration and diverse offerings.
