Thatcham Paedophile Niall Tutt Threatened to Rape and Kill Victim
Niall Tutt, a 24-year-old from Thatcham, has been detained indefinitely after threatening a victim and possessing indecent images of children.

He was caught with some really awful images of kids, including a baby. Can you believe that? He didn’t even show up for his sentencing at Reading Crown Court. Just skipped out on it.
Back in 2021, he was accused of sexually touching a girl who was only 16 at the time. When her dad confronted him, Tutt sent a chilling message saying he’d rape her in front of him and then kill them both. That’s just beyond messed up.
After a jury found him guilty, they had to issue a warrant for his arrest since he wasn’t there. During the investigation, police found his iPhone, and the stuff they discovered was just horrific. He had searched for terms like “paedo” and “rape.”
The court heard he had a stash of images, some of which were the most serious kind, showing really disturbing content. One of the victims was just two years old.
His lawyer mentioned that Tutt still claims he’s innocent and wouldn’t even talk to him. It’s a strange situation, and the lawyer said he’s only seen it a couple of times in his career.
The judge noted that Tutt has been diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia but was still fit to stand trial. In the end, the judge decided to detain him under the Mental Health Act for an indefinite period, saying it was for his own good and to protect the public.
On top of that, he’s now on the Sex Offenders Register for seven years and can’t have any contact with his victim. It’s just a really sad and scary situation all around.
