Melbourne: A 19-year-old boy is in hot water after police found some pretty alarming notes he wrote. These notes laid out plans for a school shooting, bombing a university, and even poisoning the city’s water supply. Yikes, right?

He’s been locked up since April and will stay in custody until at least the new year. Authorities are worried he might still be plotting something from behind bars. It all started when the FBI tipped off Australian police about him back in February.

Apparently, he was looking up how to make guns and was pretty vocal about wanting revenge for being bullied. After a raid on his home, police found not just the notes but also a stash of 500 rounds of ammo and parts for homemade weapons. Talk about a serious situation!

His notes included some really dark ideas, like bombing a university and targeting police. He even mentioned specific people he felt wronged by. One note chillingly stated he hoped it would haunt new cops for life when they saw the aftermath of his actions.

He had applied to Monash University for a chemistry course but got rejected. In one of his letters, he begged not to be turned away, claiming he wanted to contribute positively to society. But it seems that rejection really hit him hard, and he named the staff member who rejected him as a target.

In another note, he warned that if he didn’t get into a course by the end of October, he’d run out of excuses for those he blamed. He felt society didn’t recognize his potential and was frustrated seeing others succeed while he struggled.

After being charged, he was granted bail but refused to engage with the psychological help he was supposed to get. He thought the psychologist was spying on him. Not a great mindset to be in!

In September, police found even more concerning materials during another raid, including videos of mass casualty events. Some of his notes were in a code he created, and police are still trying to figure out what they mean.

During a court hearing, police expressed serious concerns about his potential for violence and the possibility that he had hidden dangerous items. His lawyer argued that he’s a vulnerable young man who needs help, not isolation.

His parents are desperate to help him and are willing to do anything to keep him safe. However, the court denied him bail again, emphasizing the serious risk he poses if he carries out his plans. He’s set to return to court in January, and everyone is on edge about what might happen next.
