Tameside: A 17-year-old boy is in the hospital after being stabbed. It happened near a Tesco Express on Oldham Road in Ashton-under-Lyne. Police got the call and rushed to the scene.
The boy was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. So far, no one has been arrested. Greater Manchester Police are on it, sending more officers to the area while they investigate.
Detectives are asking anyone who saw anything or has info to come forward. As night fell, images showed officers working inside the store.
According to the police, they received reports of the stabbing around 6 PM. Emergency services were quick to respond, but the investigation is just getting started.
Detective Sergeant Steve Carroll mentioned they’re following several leads to piece together what happened. They want to hear from anyone who might have been in the area or has any details, no matter how small.
