Harrow: A shocking incident unfolded when a teenager was lured into a trap by people she thought were friends. They ambushed her in a car park, and it turned violent fast.
The girl, just 18, was attacked after someone revealed her transgender identity. It all started when she was invited to what she thought was a fun roller disco. Instead, she faced a masked group ready to hurt her.
Summer Betts-Ramsey, one of the attackers, admitted to using a knife during the assault. The group turned on her after a friend outed her, and things escalated quickly.
In court, it was revealed that the girl had been threatened before the attack. She was scared and felt she had to admit her identity to avoid further violence.
When she arrived at the meeting spot, the group wasted no time. They jumped her, and Betts-Ramsey stabbed her at least 14 times while others kicked and punched her.
Witnesses were horrified and rushed to help. The girl was in bad shape when the ambulance arrived, and she was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
After the attack, the group bragged about it online, showing just how twisted the whole situation was. One even sent her a message that was just plain cruel.
In her victim statement, the girl shared how the attack changed her life. She struggles with trust and fears leaving her home. It’s heartbreaking to think someone could hate her so much.
The court proceedings are still ongoing, and it’s clear this incident has left deep scars, both physically and emotionally.
