Monkton: A teenager named Carl Thomas really crossed the line with his ex-partner. He attacked her and made some pretty scary threats about her house and car.

The woman, in her forties, had a brief relationship with him but ended it because of his troubling behavior. On August 4, he showed up at her place, and when she wouldn’t let him in, he hit her in the mouth, leaving her with a split lip.

A few days later, she heard a noise at around 2:40 AM and found him with her keys. When she tried to grab them, he dragged her outside, which must have been terrifying.

He even sent her messages saying he wanted to harm himself and was caught on her doorbell camera banging on her door with a knife. After that, she reported him to the police, and they arrested him the next day.

Even after being released on bail with orders not to contact her, he was caught on camera sneaking into her garden multiple times. He sent her threatening messages, saying he wanted to burn her car and even made creepy comments about her shed.

Things escalated when he was seen walking toward her house with lighter fluid. Thankfully, he ran off when he spotted her child and a friend. He was arrested again shortly after.

In court, he pleaded guilty to several charges, including battery and stalking. His lawyer argued that he was just a young guy who couldn’t handle the breakup. The judge didn’t hold back, calling him “extremely immature” and sentenced him to a year in a Young Offender Institute, along with a three-year restraining order for the victim.
