Teenager arrested for drink driving after crashing into McDonald’s

Southend: So, there was this wild incident where a teenager crashed her car into a McDonald’s. The 19-year-old from Leigh-on-Sea was taken to the hospital first, then arrested for drink driving.

This all went down around 9 PM on a Saturday night. The car hit a table outside the restaurant on Eastern Avenue. Can you believe it? A black Ford Fiesta just plowed right into the outdoor seating area!

Luckily, no one was hurt. The car broke through a metal fence that was along the road. It’s a relief that pedestrians were safe during this crazy moment.

Essex Police said they’re still looking into what happened. They’ve asked anyone with info or footage to reach out, quoting incident 981 from January 11.
