Teenager Arrested After Knife Incident Outside Passmores Academy
A teenager was arrested following a knife incident near Passmores Academy in Harlow, raising concerns about youth safety in the area

Harlow: So, there was this incident in Harlow where a teenage boy got arrested. It all went down near Passmores Academy on a Monday afternoon.
The police got a call around 3:35 PM and rushed to the scene. They found a knife and arrested a 15-year-old on suspicion of assault and having a weapon.
He’s been released on bail while they keep investigating. Thankfully, the victim only had a minor hand injury, and it wasn’t from a weapon.
Acting Chief Inspector Leanne Archer mentioned that it’s understandable for people to be worried, especially since it happened near a school.
She praised the quick police response, which helped prevent any serious injuries. The arrested boy is being questioned, but he’s out on bail for now.
Archer also pointed out that tackling knife crime is a top priority for the police. They’ve found that a lot of serious knife crime involves young people, both as victims and perpetrators.
