Boston: Jayson Tatum had an incredible game, matching a record held by the legendary Larry Bird. The Celtics took down the Bulls with a solid 123-98 win.

Tatum scored 43 points, grabbed 16 rebounds, and dished out 10 assists. This was his third career triple-double, and it’s a big deal for the Celtics.

It’s the first time since Bird that a Celtics player has recorded a 40-point triple-double. Bird did it back in 1992 against Portland, so you know it’s special.

Tatum expressed his admiration for Bird, saying, “Larry Bird is probably the best player to ever wear this uniform.” He feels honored to be mentioned alongside such a legend.

In other games, LeBron James led the Lakers to a close win over the Kings, while the Heat blew a big lead against the Magic. Steph Curry also shined for the Warriors in their victory over the Timberwolves.
