Swale: So, there’s this wild story about a shoplifter who just couldn’t help herself. A woman named Shelley Earnshaw decided to hit up a Morrisons store in Milton Regis more than ten times in just two weeks. Can you believe that?

She’s 31 and from Sittingbourne, and during her little shopping spree, she managed to swipe over £850 worth of stuff. We’re talking meat, cheese, alcohol, and even household and hygiene products. It’s like she was on a mission!

But here’s the kicker: she was already banned from the store because of a Criminal Behaviour Order that was slapped on her back in September 2024. That order was supposed to keep her out for three years, but clearly, she didn’t care.

When the police finally caught up with her on January 11, she was hit with 22 charges for theft and breaching that court order. She didn’t even fight it and pleaded guilty to everything when she faced the magistrates.

In the end, she got an eight-month prison sentence. Chief Inspector Vanessa Foster made it clear that this kind of behavior won’t be tolerated. Shoplifting isn’t a victimless crime, and they’re serious about bringing people like her to justice.
