Runcorn: So, Mike Amesbury, the suspended Labour MP, has admitted to assaulting someone. It all went down in the street, and he showed up in court to face the music.

This happened in Frodsham, Cheshire, where he was accused of attacking a 45-year-old guy named Paul Fellows. The police got the call about it at 2:48 AM on October 26 last year. Talk about a late-night incident!

Things got serious when footage surfaced that seemed to show Amesbury throwing a punch. After that, he was suspended from the Labour Party. Now, he’s sitting in Parliament as an Independent.

At 55 years old, he was summoned to court for a section 39 assault charge after the case was handed over to prosecutors on October 29. It’s a wild turn of events for a sitting MP, for sure.
