Suspect Named After Cash Stolen From Charity Shop in Crosby

A man has been charged after cash was stolen from a charity shop in Crosby. The incident occurred overnight, prompting a police investigation.

Crosby: A charity shop was broken into recently. Merseyside Police reported that the break-in happened between 9 PM on January 7 and 6 AM on January 8. The front door of Age UK on Moor Lane was smashed to gain entry.

During the break-in, cash was stolen from a till and a donation box. After gathering evidence, police arrested a man on February 3.

The suspect, Paul McKenzie Stewart, is 51 years old and lives on Regent Road in Bootle. He has been charged with burglary with intent to steal. Stewart is set to appear in Wirral Adult Remand Court today, February 4.
