Central Florida: It’s a brisk start to our Saturday, and it looks like we’ll be feeling the chill again tonight. The sun will be shining, but those steady northerly winds are bringing in some cold air.
Meteorologist David Heckard mentioned that we might only see highs in the low 60s today. In some spots, we might not even crack the 60-degree mark!
Tonight will be cool again with clear skies. If you’re in the far northwestern areas, keep an eye out for some patchy frost, and expect morning temps to dip into the low 50s.
Good news, though! Warmer weather is on the way for Sunday. We can look forward to mostly sunny skies and dry conditions, with highs bouncing back into the low 70s.
Heckard also said we’ll kick off next week on a warm note before a strong cold front rolls in. A few showers might pop up on Monday as that front approaches, with temps reaching the upper 70s.
And just a heads up, the coldest air of the season is expected to hit us midweek. So, if you’re not a fan of the cold, hang in there; slightly warmer weather should return by the end of the week!
