Kansas City: The Chiefs pulled off another thrilling win, edging out the Chargers 19-17 on Sunday Night Football. It was a close one, but they clinched the AFC West title for the ninth year in a row.

The game was intense, with the Chiefs now sitting at 12-1. They’ve set a record with 15 straight one-score victories. The Chargers, on the other hand, dropped to 8-5 after this heartbreaker.

In the second half, the Chargers took control and even led 17-16 after a field goal. But with Patrick Mahomes at the helm, the Chiefs weren’t done yet. They marched down the field, and with just seconds left, Matthew Wright kicked a 31-yard field goal that bounced off the upright and in for the win.

Mahomes made some key plays, including a crucial pass to Travis Kelce that helped them run down the clock. The Chargers had their chances, outgaining the Chiefs in the second half, but it just wasn’t enough.

Mahomes completed 24 of 37 passes for 210 yards and a touchdown, while the Chargers’ Justin Herbert threw for 213 yards and a touchdown as well. Both teams had their moments, but the Chiefs came out on top once again.

Injuries were a concern, with Chiefs left tackle D.J. Humphries and cornerback Joshua Williams both leaving the game. But in the end, it was all about that last-second kick that sealed the deal for Kansas City.
