Edinburgh: After a long legal battle, the court case against Summerhall Management Ltd has finally wrapped up. On Wednesday, Robert McDowell, the director, shared that the petition to wind up the company over unpaid taxes was pulled just before Christmas.

This means no more court hearings about it, which is a relief. They even got access back to their bank accounts in late December, so all the box office money for artists was safe. They managed to sort out all the Fringe and other payouts before the holiday, which is great news.

McDowell expressed gratitude for everyone’s patience during this messy situation. Looking ahead, he mentioned that talks with other stakeholders, including Summerhall Arts, are ongoing, and more updates will come from them soon.

In other news, the property is up for sale, and luxury developers AMA are the preferred bidders, though we don’t know what their plans are just yet.
