Fortrose: A couple from the Black Isle is making waves with their heartfelt fundraiser. They want to give back for the care their daughter received during her tough battle with illness.

Alma Fraser, just 12 years old, was diagnosed with a spinal tumor last May. She’s been through a lot, including surgeries and a long chemotherapy journey. Now, her family is rallying support for The Archie Foundation, which helps families in similar situations.

This weekend, a team of cyclists will take on the Strathpuffer 24-hour challenge in her honor. They’ve been training hard, even braving snowy nights to prepare. So far, they’ve raised over £4000, and the community is really stepping up to help.

Mum Maru expressed her gratitude, saying they’re thrilled with the support. It’s all about helping local kids and families facing serious health issues. If you want to join in and support the cause, there’s still time to contribute!
