Aberdeen: The search is still on for the missing twins, Eliza and Henrietta Huszti. Their family is really worried, especially after a strange message they left behind.

The sisters, who are 32 and originally from Hungary, disappeared in the early hours of January 7. They were last spotted on CCTV at Market Street, crossing a bridge and heading towards the River Dee.

Their brother, Jozsef, mentioned that the twins had sent a message to their landlady saying they wanted to end their tenancy. This caught the family off guard since they hadn’t heard anything about it before.

Scottish police have since found out that the sisters had indeed told their landlady they planned to move out. Jozsef also said that everything seemed normal when their mom spoke to them just days before they vanished.

On January 13, the family released a heartfelt statement expressing their worries and asking for help from anyone who might have information. They just want their sisters back safe.

The search has ramped up, involving helicopters and marine units, with a focus on the River Dee since there’s no sign of the twins leaving the area. Police are urging anyone with information to come forward.

Chief Inspector Darren Bruce reassured the family that they’re doing everything they can. He’s asking anyone who was around that night to think back and share any details, no matter how small.

If you have any info, you can contact the police at 101, quoting incident number 0735 from January 7. Let’s hope for a safe return for Eliza and Henrietta.
