The BBC is predicting some wintry weather next week. They say a cold snap is on the way, and it could get pretty frosty.
The Met Office is a bit vague about the details. They mentioned that if an easterly flow kicks in, we might experience much colder weather and some wintry showers.
Even though they say the chance is low, WXCharts agrees with the BBC. They think we might see some snow next week, too.
Before that happens, we can expect highs of around 10C today and tomorrow. But by Thursday morning, it’s going to be a freezing -2C, which is a drop of 12C from earlier in the week.
WXCharts is also predicting snow on February 13. Over the weekend, we’ll have lows of 0C and highs only reaching 3C. It’s going to feel pretty chilly.
The BBC forecasts light snow for Stoke-on-Trent, Newcastle, and the Moorlands. It’s expected to start around 1am on Monday, lasting until about 10am.
There’s a chance of sleet before more snow arrives in the evening. More flurries are also expected on Thursday and Sunday, with temperatures not rising above 4C next week.
