Melbourne: Parts of southeast Australia are gearing up for a serious heatwave this weekend. Some areas could see temperatures shoot up past 40 degrees Celsius. It’s going to be a scorcher!
In New South Wales, places like Wilcannia are expected to hit a blistering 43 degrees on Sunday and Monday. That’s hot enough to fry an egg on the pavement!
Victoria isn’t escaping either. Warracknabeal, about 100 kilometers from the Grampians, is forecasted to reach 41 degrees on Saturday. With bushfires already burning, it’s a tough situation.
The Bureau of Meteorology is warning that heatwave conditions are building up, especially in eastern NSW and parts of Victoria. It’s going to be a hot one!
