Cork: A dog was found chained on wasteland. It had been missing for two weeks. The black and white lurcher was stolen from an animal shelter.

Gardaí discovered the dog during a search. It was near housing, without food or water. The poor pup’s ribs were visible under its skin.

Now, the dog is safe and getting care. Gardaí say it’s receiving food, water, and belly rubs. They are investigating the theft from the shelter.

On social media, Gardaí shared the news. They explained the dog was distressed and abandoned. They also mentioned the dog had been missing for two weeks.
