Southport: So, there’s this guy, Dylan Carey, who got into some serious trouble after a vigil for three schoolgirls. He was sentenced to 18 months but only served three months before getting released. Crazy, right?

He was at this vigil with his pregnant girlfriend, paying respects to the girls who tragically lost their lives in a stabbing incident. But things took a wild turn when a protest started outside a mosque nearby, and it quickly escalated into chaos.

When the police showed up, they found a huge, angry crowd—about 200 people! They were throwing stuff and shouting some pretty intense things. It was a real mess.

Carey was caught on camera throwing objects and kicking a police van. He claimed he was just there because his girlfriend wanted to honor the girls. But the judge wasn’t having it. He was told he’d miss the birth of his child, yet here he is, out after just three months.

The Ministry of Justice said he’s on a strict license now, meaning he’s tagged and has to follow the rules. If he messes up, he could end up back in jail. Let’s hope he keeps it together.
