Toronto: Quick bursts of snow swept through Southern Ontario on Thursday, making roads and sidewalks a bit slick. It wasn’t a huge snowfall, but it definitely made things tricky for drivers and pedestrians.
As the evening commute rolled in, folks were advised to be careful. The snow was light, but it still posed a risk for slippery conditions. The western Greater Toronto Area and Niagara region saw some of the heaviest flurries.
Snow showers were expected to continue until dinner time, but things should calm down by Friday morning. Accumulations were on the lighter side, with most areas seeing just a trace up to about 3 cm. Some spots near Lake Huron might get up to 5 cm, though.
