South Wilts Mencap Celebrates New Year Party at Salisbury Guildhall

The South Wilts Mencap New Year Party brought joy to 200 attendees at Salisbury Guildhall with music, dancing, and a festive buffet.

Salisbury: South Wilts Mencap held their annual New Year Party on January 31. It took place at the Guildhall and was a much-anticipated event.

Members of the learning-disability community and their carers dressed up for the occasion. Everyone looked forward to this special night.

This year, the Steve St Clair Disco provided the music. Attendees danced with great enthusiasm and energy throughout the night.

About 200 members, carers, and volunteers enjoyed a buffet and bar. A raffle added to the fun of the evening.

South Wilts Mencap secretary, Sue Hurst, thanked supporters for generous donations. She also appreciated the Guildhall staff and local services for their help.

South Wilts Mencap is a local charity supporting people with learning disabilities. They inspire individuals to reach their full potential in Salisbury and South Wilts.
