London: So, here’s the scoop. South Western Railway is shaking things up a bit for the next two weekends. They’re doing some engineering work in Wimbledon, and it’s going to mess with train services.

From January 18 to 19 and again on January 25 to 26, a bunch of trains won’t be running. Instead, they’ll be swapping them out for buses. They’re replacing a lot of track and other stuff, which is good for the long run but a hassle right now.

Basically, if you usually take the train from London Waterloo to places like Chessington or Dorking, you’ll need to hop on a bus instead. They’ve got a whole list of bus routes set up to help you get around.

And it’s not just the short trips. Longer journeys, like those to Exeter or Portsmouth, will also be affected. Expect those to take about 30 minutes longer than usual. Yikes!

Peter Williams from SWR is asking everyone to plan ahead. He knows it’s a pain, but they’re doing this to keep things running smoothly in the future. So, if you’re traveling on those weekends, check out their website to see what’s up.
