Manchester: A heartbreaking incident occurred when a six-month-old baby girl, Sophia Kelemen, was hit by a vehicle while in her pram at a car park in Tenby, Pembrokeshire. This tragic event took place on January 2, just after 4 PM.

Sadly, Sophia was rushed to the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff but passed away the next day. The coroner’s court has opened an inquest into her death, and it was revealed that the cause was an intracranial hemorrhage due to the collision.

PC Carrie Sheridan shared that the police were alerted by the ambulance service about the crash involving a single vehicle and a child’s pram. The assistant coroner, Gareth Lewis, expressed his condolences to Sophia’s family and those affected by this tragedy.

In a show of support, over £4,000 has been raised to help with Sophia’s funeral costs. Meanwhile, Flaviu Naghi, a 33-year-old from Wigan, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving and is set to appear in court on February 7.
