Odessa, Texas, Assault, Robbery, Ector County
Odessa: So, there was this wild incident over the weekend. A 39-year-old guy named James Allen McDuffee got himself arrested after his dad accused him of punching him and stealing some stuff.
It all started when the cops got a 9-1-1 hangup call from their RV on West 42nd Street early Sunday morning. When they first showed up, James said he needed to go to the hospital, so they left him alone.
But then, his 62-year-old dad called them back. He was bleeding and told the deputies that his son had attacked him and taken his cell phone, wallet, and about $100 in cash. Yikes!
When the deputies checked, they found all the stolen items with James while he was in the ambulance. He ended up getting booked into the Ector County jail with a hefty $50,000 bond. What a mess!
