Manchester: Pep Guardiola is feeling the heat as Manchester City struggles to find their form. He’s taken a hard look in the mirror and admits he’s partly to blame for the team’s recent woes.

City has only managed to win two out of their last 14 matches, which is pretty rough. What was once talk of a fifth Premier League title is now shifting to concerns about even making the top four. They really need a win against West Ham this Saturday, but Guardiola thinks the problems run deeper than just one game.

He’s been defending his players, reminding everyone that this is the same squad that won the title and reached the FA Cup Final last season. But he feels he hasn’t been able to lift them up this time around, and that’s weighing on him.

Guardiola said, “The call is on me first. I’m unbelievably honest with myself for the reason why we arrive here and it is me. It’s not the players.” He knows that players can have ups and downs, but he feels he should have done better to keep the team on track.

After a tough derby loss to United, he even questioned if he was good enough. His bosses still believe in him, and the players are backing him, but he’s reflecting on the last couple of months and knows he could have made different choices.

“There is something I miss, something I’m not doing well,” he admitted. He feels a huge responsibility as the manager to boost the team’s confidence, and he’s not shying away from that. He knows they’re not performing at the level they used to, and he’s determined to turn things around.

Guardiola hopes that with some good results, the team can regain their belief and composure. It’s a tough spot, but he’s ready to tackle it head-on.
