Somerset: More snow is on the way! The BBC Weather forecast predicts snowfall next week. It looks like Monday, February 10, will be a snowy day.
Temperatures will be chilly, peaking at 5°C and dropping to -1°C. The Met Office says a high-pressure system is moving in, bringing colder weather.
From Thursday to Saturday, expect a mix of sunshine and clouds. Light rain will start Friday evening, turning to snow and sleet on Saturday.
The Met Office warns of a cold snap with easterly winds, making it feel even colder. Overnight frosts are likely, so bundle up!
Snow is expected in Chard between 6 am and 9 am on Monday, with sleet later. Minehead and Taunton will also see sleet, while Ilminster might get light snow.
However, northern Somerset may have a chilly morning without snow. The forecast suggests a risk of snow across the UK as colder weather sets in.
