Queensland: A heartbreaking incident has led to a recall of oodies by Temu. An eight-year-old girl, Daniella Jacobs-Herd, suffered severe burns when her unicorn jumper caught fire.

This happened last July while they were celebrating her mom’s birthday. A spark from the fire pit landed on her jumper, and it ignited quickly, causing serious injuries.

Her mom, Hannah, acted fast, keeping Daniella under the shower until help arrived. Sadly, she ended up with third-degree burns on her face, chest, arm, and hand.

Daniella has been through a lot, undergoing 14 surgeries in just seven weeks after the accident. It’s been a tough road for the family, especially with medical bills piling up.

Temu has since issued a recall for the pink and purple unicorn oodies, along with others that don’t meet safety standards. They lack the necessary fire hazard labels, which is a big concern.

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) has warned that these garments pose a serious burn risk. They’re urging consumers to return the items for a refund.

Hannah has been raising funds to help with Daniella’s medical expenses, sharing how brave her daughter has been through all of this. It’s a tough situation, and they could really use the support.
