Philadelphia: The Sixers are facing a tough situation as they gear up to play the Suns. They’ve decided to sit out Joel Embiid, Andre Drummond, and Kyle Lowry for this game.
Embiid is dealing with a left foot sprain he picked up a while back. Coach Nick Nurse mentioned it’s not a big deal, and he’s just day-to-day. Embiid himself confirmed he hurt his foot during a game against the Celtics.
He had been on fire lately, averaging over 30 points and nearly 10 rebounds in his last five games. But now, he’ll be watching from the sidelines.
Lowry has been struggling with his hip, and it’s been bothering him quite a bit. It’s tough to see him out there, especially at 38 years old. Drummond is also out with a toe sprain.
On a brighter note, Kelly Oubre Jr. is back after missing a few games with a hand injury. So, the team will have some fresh legs to work with against Phoenix.
