Philadelphia: So, Joel Embiid took a hit during the game against the Pacers. He ended up with a sinus fracture, which is pretty concerning. The team will check him out over the weekend to see how serious it is.
It all went down when he was trying to grab a rebound. Bennedict Mathurin’s arm caught him right in the face. Ouch! Embiid walked off the court before halftime, looking pretty shaken up.
He didn’t come back after the break, finishing with 12 points and a few assists. Coach Nick Nurse mentioned that they were testing him for fractures. Given Embiid’s history with facial injuries, it’s no wonder he was worried.
Let’s hope he gets good news soon. The Sixers need him on the court, and fans are definitely rooting for a speedy recovery!
