Tragic Death of Six-Month-Old Baby After Pram Hit by Vehicle

Tenby: A heartbreaking incident unfolded when a six-month-old girl, Sophia Kelemen, suffered a fatal head injury after her pram was hit by a car. This tragic event took place in a multi-storey car park on January 2.
She was rushed to the University Hospital of Wales but sadly passed away the next day. The coroner’s officer, Pc Carrie Sheridan, shared that the collision happened around 4:04 PM.
During the inquest, it was revealed that Sophia’s cause of death was an intracranial hemorrhage due to the accident. The assistant coroner, Gareth Lewis, expressed his condolences to the grieving family.
Flaviu Naghi, the driver involved, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving and other offenses. He’s set to appear in court soon.
Sophia’s father, Alex Kelemen, shared how the family was on holiday in Tenby when the tragedy struck. He described the experience as a nightmare, saying it was hard to process what happened.
They hope to lay their little girl to rest in Romania, their home country, surrounded by loved ones who cherished her.
