Sidcup Emerges as Bexley’s Most Popular Station in 2024
Sidcup has topped the list of Bexley’s train stations, attracting the most daily visitors in 2024, according to recent data.

Sidcup: Recent data from On Time Trains has shown how busy train stations are across the UK. They looked at how many people come and go each day.
In Bexley, they checked out all 11 train stations managed by Southeastern to see which ones were the most and least popular in 2024.
Turns out, Sidcup is the star of the show, with about 6,693 visits daily. Not too shabby, right?
Overall, Sidcup ranked 707th out of 2,639 stations in the UK, boasting an impressive 88 percent performance score.
Last year, 59 percent of trains were on time, with a few running late by 10 minutes or more, and a couple even getting canceled.
Sidcup is part of the Hither Green to Dartford line, making it easy for folks to hop on a train to London Bridge or Charing Cross.
On the flip side, Albany Park was the least used station in Bexley, with only 1,811 visitors a day last year.
This station also runs on the Sidcup line and has an 87 percent performance score.
In 2024, only 43 percent of its trains were on time, with many delayed by just a minute or two, and a few lagging behind by 10 minutes or more.
