Tadley, RG26 3PE, Postcode Lottery, £200,000, Danyl Johnson
Sian, 61, had canceled her subscription over two weeks ago. Luckily, she still made the cut-off for the January draw. She works at Tadley Health & Fitness Centre.
On February 1, Sian celebrated with four neighbors after RG26 3PE won the weekly £1 million street prize. They were all excited to share the good news.
Sian thought she had only won a popcorn maker when she got the call. When Danyl Johnson presented her prize, she realized it was much more.
She said, “This changes my life. It’s amazing.” Sian plans to take her family on a holiday to Portugal.
Alistair Murrey, who lives nearby, also won £200,000. He almost canceled his ticket last year but decided to keep it.
Alistair, 50, was shocked when he saw his winnings. His wife, Sally, was emotional. They plan to use some of the money for their daughter’s education.
Sally, 50, is excited to visit family in South Africa with their daughter, Ella. They have many travel plans now that they’ve won.
The lottery win also helped local charities. The Tadley District & Community Association received £50,000.
This funding will improve community facilities and support local programs. The community is grateful for the support from the People’s Postcode Lottery.
