New York: The Brooklyn Nets faced off against the Philadelphia 76ers and it didn’t go well. The 76ers took control early and never looked back, winning 123-94.
Joel Embiid was a beast, scoring 28 points and grabbing 12 rebounds. Tyrese Maxey also stepped up with 18 points, while Paul George and Caleb Martin each added 17. The 76ers really needed this win after losing their last two games.
On the other hand, the Nets were missing some key players. Cam Thomas, Cam Johnson, and Ben Simmons were all out due to injuries. That’s a tough blow for any team, and it showed on the court.
Brooklyn started off slow, falling behind 11-0. They tried to rally but ended up getting outscored 29-8 in the first quarter. By halftime, the 76ers were leading 64-47, and it felt like the game was already decided.
Despite the loss, Ziaire Williams scored 19 points and Keon Johnson added 15 for the Nets. But it just wasn’t enough to keep up with the 76ers’ offense.
Looking ahead, the Nets will have to figure things out quickly. They’re set to face Indiana next, but they’ll be without Cam Johnson for at least three more games. The team is hoping to get some of their stars back soon.
