Grantham: So, there’s this shoplifter named Connie Challis, right? She’s 26 and has no fixed address. Recently, she got hit with a two-year Criminal Behaviour Order after stealing some booze from ASDA.

This all went down in Lincoln Magistrates’ Court. She was caught lifting spirits not once, but twice, on January 3 and 10. The court decided enough was enough and slapped her with this order to keep her from causing more trouble.

The idea behind these orders is to stop repeat offenders. If she breaks the rules, she could be looking at up to five years in prison. That’s pretty serious!

Lincolnshire Police and the local council teamed up to make this happen. They want to keep the community safe and reduce retail crime. They’re keeping an eye on her and even sharing her photo so folks can recognize her and report any issues.

Challis is banned from most shops in Grantham, but she can still go to Lidl and Matalan. It’s a big deal for the local stores and residents, who just want to feel safe while shopping.
