Woolwich: A year 12 student was found hurt on Prince Imperial Road around 4:20 PM on January 6. It was a pretty serious situation.
Emergency services rushed in, and he was taken to the hospital in critical condition at first. Thankfully, he’s now stable.
Police arrested a 19-year-old man and a 17-year-old girl on suspicion of attempted murder and conspiracy to commit murder. Both are still in custody.
The victim is recovering in the hospital with injuries that aren’t life-threatening or life-changing, which is a relief.
After the incident, Shooters Hill College had to close for two days. Parents were notified that students would be learning from home during this time.
On the college’s website, they posted a message saying, “College closed to students. Wednesday 8th January 2025.” They also reminded students with exams to show up as planned.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police confirmed the arrests and mentioned that the investigation is still ongoing. They’re asking anyone with information to reach out.
